The Pastoral Council is the policy-forming body for the parish and the pastor's primary advisory group. Among its areas of responsibility and accountability are the spiritual, financial and educational concerns of Divine Mercy Parish. The Council at-large members shall be comprised of no fewer than 9 members, all of whom must be baptized, practicing Catholics, registered members of the parish, and who participate in the parish worship life, especially Mass and the sacraments. The Council also consists of the following ex officio members: the pastoral team and the two lay trustees, and Recording Secretary.
Pastoral Council meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month, beginning at 6:30pm, at our 800 Marquette Avenue site. Any interested parishioner is welcome to attend meetings.
